A 14-year-old girl has been arrested as the York County Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation into a shooting on Route 202 in Lebanon Saturday morning.

The arrest follows the earlier arrest of 19-year-old Zachary Shaw in connection with the same investigation.

Second Arrest Made

According to the York County Sheriff’s Office, deputies continued investigating the Route 202 shooting throughout Saturday.

As a result of the investigation, deputies arrested a 14-year-old female from Sanford on a charge of Reckless Conduct with a Dangerous Weapon.

Authorities also recovered the weapon believed to have been involved in the shooting.

The juvenile was transported to the Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland.

Earlier Arrest

Shaw, 19, was previously arrested in connection with the investigation. The Sheriff’s Office said he is scheduled to make his first court appearance today at 1:00 p.m.

The York County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.

The charges are allegations. Both individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven responsible or guilty through the applicable court proceedings.
