State Troopers assigned to Troop B responded at approximately 11:55 a.m. to a report of a crash involving a 2026 Lucid Gravity that struck the Bedford Toll Plaza. Authorities said 911 callers reported the vehicle had caught fire and that the driver appeared to be trapped inside.
Emergency Response and Rescue
While units were responding, a State Trooper assigned to Governor Kelly Ayotte’s security detail came upon the crash. Police said the trooper observed the vehicle actively on fire with the driver still inside and pulled the driver from the vehicle through a window.
Authorities said Governor Ayotte and other witnesses at the scene provided assistance. The trooper’s name is being withheld due to the nature of their position.
Injuries and Medical Transport
The driver, identified as Yevgeny Mirman, 51, of Massachusetts, was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with serious injuries, according to State Police.
Traffic and Investigation
Officials said that as of 5:00 p.m., some northbound lanes at the toll plaza had reopened, allowing for the flow of traffic, although at least one lane remained closed.
State Police said no charges have been filed at this time and the crash remains under investigation.
