EXETER, N.H. — The Exeter Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred in the early hours of Sunday, November 16, 2025, in the area of 9 Ashbrook Road.

At approximately 2:00 a.m., Exeter Police officers and Exeter Fire units responded to a reported motor-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, first responders found that the driver—and any possible passengers—had fled the scene before officers arrived.

According to investigators, a 2015 Mercedes C-Class was traveling southbound on Ashbrook Road, a posted 25 mph zone, when it left the roadway. The vehicle crossed a large section of lawn, struck rocks, and then collided with a parked vehicle in a driveway. The force of the impact caused major damage to both vehicles. No occupants from the suspect vehicle were present when officers arrived.

Detectives are working to identify the driver and determine the full sequence of events that led to the collision. Police note that speed appears to be a contributing factor in the crash. The investigation remains active.
Exeter Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash, seen the suspect vehicle before or after the impact, has exterior home camera footage from the area, or has information about the driver or any occupants to contact investigators.
