November 18, 2025 — by Scanner Alerts Media

Hampton, N.H. — Hampton Fire/Rescue responded to a fire at a farm in the department’s rural district that required a first-alarm assignment and mutual aid. Because the location lacks nearby hydrants, water had to be brought in to support firefighting operations.

According to the farm’s public statement, the fire occurred overnight in the equipment shed where its poultry processing operation had been set up following the first day of processing. No injuries were reported.

The farm reported the following impacts:

  • The equipment shed is a complete loss.

  • All processing equipment was ruined.

  • Approximately 75 live birds were lost.

  • The majority of turkeys already processed were also lost.

Hampton Fire/Rescue noted that additional resources were requested immediately due to the rural water supply needs. The farm stated it is assessing the full extent of the damage and will communicate a plan and timeline for next steps when available. The farm also expressed gratitude to the firefighters who responded.

No cause information was released. Further updates are expected from the farm and Hampton Fire/Rescue when available.
