Jury Finds Nicholas Kemp Guilty in Hillsboro Fentanyl Distribution Case

HILLSBORO, N.H. — The Hillsboro Police Department announced the conviction of Nicholas Kemp, found guilty in Hillsborough County Superior Court North of Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Distribute following a jury trial.

Kemp was originally arrested in October 2024 by Hillsboro Police. At the time of his arrest, he was found in possession of 67 bindles of fentanyl packaged for individual sale and an additional four “fingers” of fentanyl. During closing arguments, prosecutors told the jury the total quantity seized was sufficient to produce more than 2,000 individual doses based on average user consumption.
After deliberation, the jury returned a guilty verdict. Sentencing is scheduled for later this month.
