Limerick Maine Man Arrested After 152 MPH Stop on Route 25 in Effingham

A 45-year-old Maine man was arrested Sunday evening after an Effingham Police sergeant clocked a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro at 152 mph in a posted 55 mph zone on Route 25.
At 6:23 p.m., Sergeant Bryan Baker was conducting radar patrol when he observed the eastbound Camaro at 152 mph. The driver was stopped and identified as Bryce Legere, 45, of Limerick, Maine.
Legere was arrested and charged with reckless operation, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, and speeding 26+ mph over the posted speed limit of 55 mph or less. He was transported to the Carroll County Department of Corrections for processing and booking and is scheduled to appear in Ossipee District Court on November 26, 2025.
