Rochester Police and Frisbie EMS responded at 11:13 p.m. Thursday to the Amazon Campground off Whitehouse Road for a report of a man who had been stabbed.



Emergency Response and Timeline



First responders located a man suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen. Police said he was transported to Portsmouth Hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.



Investigation and Arrest



During the investigation, officials said they learned the victim had gotten into an argument with another man, and the dispute escalated, leading to the stabbing. Police said both parties were known to one another.


Officials said the other involved man remained on scene and was arrested. Jeremy Brown, 51, of Rochester, New Hampshire, was charged with three counts of 1st Degree Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Police said Brown is scheduled to be arraigned on February 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the 7th Circuit District Court in Rochester.
