Three people died late Tuesday night after a 2013 Ford Focus left Route 47 in Francestown, struck a telephone pole, and overturned. State Police say the investigation is ongoing.

At 11:10 p.m., Troopers from the Troop B barracks and emergency medical personnel responded to Route 47 (Bennington Road) for a reported crash. The preliminary investigation determined the Ford had been traveling southbound when it went off the right side of the road and hit a telephone pole, continued along the shoulder, and ultimately rolled onto its roof.

All three occupants were ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene. They were identified as Aiden Brissette, 19, of Bennington; and Seth Fowler, 19, and Luis Torres, 18, both of Antrim.

Route 47 was closed for approximately five hours while utility crews addressed downed wires and Troopers documented the scene. The road reopened around 5:15 a.m. Troopers were assisted by the Francestown Fire Department and Peterborough Fire & Rescue.

All aspects of the crash remain under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Kevin Gazlay at (603) 223-4381 or Kevin.J.Gazlay@dos.nh.gov.
