Weare Police Arrest 29-Year-Old on Five Felony Counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Images

The Weare Police Department arrested Tyler Destefano, 29, of Weare, following a lengthy investigation into possession of child pornography. Destefano is charged with five counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Images (Felony A) and is being held on preventive detention.

According to the release, the investigation was assisted by the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force team, Concord Police, Bedford Police, Pittsfield Police, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, and the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office. The case remains ongoing, and additional charges may be forthcoming.

Destefano is being held at the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections. Arraignment is set for September 17, 2025, at the 9th Circuit Goffstown District Court. The charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
