A woman was pronounced dead Sunday after a motor vehicle crash in the parking lot of The Big Apple Convenience Store on Upper Main Street, according to Waterville Police and Waterville Fire Department/Rescue.

Crash Details



Police said their initial investigation indicates a blue Subaru operated by Richard Moyen was turning right onto Main Street from Waterville Commons Drive when it struck a black Cadillac operated by Kenneth Hughes, who was also traveling east.


After the initial collision, officials said the Cadillac left the roadway and struck a vehicle parked at the gas pump of The Big Apple Convenience Store.



Fatality



Authorities said Michelle Bruce was struck while refueling her vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.



Investigation Status



Officials said the investigation remains active. They also stated that all affected roads are open and functioning normally.
