Wrong-Way Driver Arrested After Head-On Crash on I-93 in Concord; No Injuries

A wrong-way driving incident on I-93 in Concord ended in a head-on crash late Sunday, leading to an arrest on multiple charges and a brief diversion of northbound traffic.


State Police began receiving reports at 11:32 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2025, of a wrong-way driver on I-93 northbound by Exit 12. While Troopers from Troop D were responding, they received an update of a head-on collision. Troopers arrived at 11:36 p.m. and found a 2023 red Jeep Wrangler disabled in the right travel lane by Exit 12S and a 2011 black Chevrolet Silverado disabled in the right breakdown lane by Exit 12N.


The Jeep’s driver and lone occupant, Sandra Ouellette, 57, of Manchester, was arrested on charges of DUI, criminal mischief, and reckless conduct. She was released on personal recognizance and is scheduled to be arraigned in Concord District Court on Friday, October 10, 2025.


Neither driver was injured. Northbound traffic was diverted off Exit 12S for one hour while the scene was investigated and cleared.
