AG Formella Releases Report on July 6, 2025 Murder of Marisol Fuentes

CONCORD, N.H. — Attorney General John M. Formella released a report following a comprehensive investigation into the July 6, 2025, murder of Marisol Fuentes in Berlin. The report confirms facts, assesses the circumstances, and identifies any issues or concerns with law enforcement or prosecutorial action related to the case.

The state’s newly established Domestic Violence Fatality Review Committee will use this case for its first full systemic review. The Committee conducts multidisciplinary, confidential reviews of domestic violence fatalities to identify gaps, systemic challenges, and opportunities for improvement, and to develop recommendations to enhance law, policy, and practice statewide.

The report is intended to inform the public and guide future improvements to better protect victims of domestic violence across New Hampshire.
