Fire Marshal Investigates Oakfield Fire as Possible Arson

Maine’s Office of State Fire Marshal is investigating a Thursday night fire in Oakfield that damaged a mobile home and other structures and is suspected to have been intentionally set.

According to the announcement, the fire occurred around 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 707 River Road. Investigators were on scene throughout Friday, October 3, and believe the blaze may have been intentionally set. The fire damaged a mobile home and several additional structures on the property.
