KENNEBUNK, Maine — The Kennebunk Police Department is asking for the public’s help following a report of stolen property on the evening of October 15, 2025. According to the department, an older male was seen picking up approximately $7,400 in cash that had fallen from the roof of a vehicle belonging to its rightful owner. The money was described as proceeds from the sale of a vehicle.


The incident occurred at about 1850 hours (6:50 p.m.) on Fletcher Street, where the individual was observed traveling westbound. The department’s description notes the man was wearing a solid blue shirt and brown pants and was associated with a dark gray Honda CR-V.
