Troy Cronk, Deputy Chief of the Mariaville-Otis Fire Department, announced he is personally launching a free snow plowing and hand sanding service in response to bitterly cold weather and anticipated snowfall.

Cronk said the offer is intended to help individuals facing financial hardships, seniors, and those with mobility issues. Community members needing assistance are encouraged to contact Troy Cronk directly or message the Mariaville Volunteer Fire/Rescue Department page so requests can be received and coordinated.

In the comments, the page administrator stated that Cronk does not want donations made to him personally, and that anyone wishing to contribute should direct donations to the Mariaville Otis Fire Department instead.
