Sprinklers Contain Attic Fire at The Old Salt & Lamie’s Inn; No Injuries

Early this morning, The Old Salt & Lamie’s Inn reported a fire in the building. According to fire officials, the fire began in the attic and was extinguished by the sprinkler system. Everyone is safe. The restaurant suffered damage to the first and second floor due to the water.

The business will be closed today to allow for cleanup and assessment. The Old Salt & Lamie’s Inn thanked the local fire department, first responders, and community for their support, and said updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
