UPDATE: Victim Identified in Concord Residential Fire; Cause Ruled Smoke Inhalation

CONCORD, N.H. — The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has identified the victim from the November 1 house fire on Rhodora Court as Alexis Palmacci, 77, of Concord. Officials report the cause of death was smoke inhalation and the manner of death was accidental. The investigation remains ongoing; no additional details are available at this time.
Recap of the initial incident (November 1, 2025)
Just before 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, members of the Concord Fire Department were dispatched to 2 Rhodora Court for a medical alert. Upon arrival, firefighters observed smoke coming from the front door and initiated an immediate search of the residence. During operations, an adult female was found sleeping and rescued without injury. A second occupant was located on a different floor and later pronounced deceased.
Investigators from the New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s Office responded to the scene. A preliminary examination determined there were no working smoke alarms on the floor where the fire started. No firefighter injuries were reported. The American Red Cross is assisting the surviving occupant.
