AG: Officer-Involved Shooting Under Investigation in Charlestown, NH

CONCORD, N.H. — Attorney General John M. Formella said Friday that members of his office and the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Charlestown.

According to the Attorney General’s Office, the incident occurred Friday evening during a motor vehicle stop near Caryl Lane and Claremont Road. One adult male was injured. No additional details about the circumstances of the encounter were released.

Officials said the investigation is active and more information will be provided when available.

Members of the public with questions were directed to the Attorney General’s Office.
