Arrest Announced in Manchester Homicide Investigation

New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella and Manchester Police Chief Peter A. Marr announced Wednesday that an arrest has been made in connection with the January 20, 2026 suspicious death investigation involving an adult male found in the area of Barry Avenue and Spruce Street in Manchester.


Authorities identified the deceased victim as Yan Leek, 35, of Londonderry, New Hampshire. An autopsy was conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, which determined the cause of death was a stab wound to the chest. The manner of death was ruled a homicide.


Officials said Mark Delisle, 32, has been charged with one count of second-degree murder for knowingly stabbing Leek. It is anticipated that Delisle will be arraigned at the 9th Circuit Court in Manchester tomorrow.


The investigation remains ongoing. Investigators said they are continuing to examine the sequence of events leading up to the stabbing and are asking any residents or citizens who may have information and have not already spoken with investigators to contact the Manchester Police Department.

Officials said the exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain under active investigation and additional information will be released as it becomes available while protecting the integrity of the investigation.


Authorities also noted that the charges and allegations against Delisle are accusations, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
