Berwick Man Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Crash

On Wednesday 25, 2025, at approximately 11:09 AM, Rochester Police, Rochester Fire and Frisbie EMS responded to the area of 1187 Salmon Falls Road for the report of a motorcycle crash into a car trailer being pulled by a pickup truck.


Upon arrival, Officers located a 2019 black Harley Davidson motorcycle and 2004 silver GMC pickup truck pulling a car trailer that had crashed into each other as they passed on a curve. The Harley Davidson had extensive damage and was later towed from the scene. The GMC did not sustain any damage but the trailer sustained damage to the driver’s side dual wheels and was towed from the scene.


The driver of the motorcycle was identified as:

Kenneth Tharpe

Age: 55

Berwick, ME.


Tharpe sustained a severe leg injury from the collision. Tharpe was wearing a helmet during the crash. Due to the severity of the crash, the Strafford County Regional Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team responded to assist with the investigation.


The driver of the GMC was identified as:

Bruce Patch

Age: 69

Farmington, NH


Patch did not sustain any injuries from the collision. Due to the accident involving a trailer towing a vehicle, Rochester Police requested the assistance of the New Hampshire State Police Troop G to assist with the inspection of the car trailer.
