Five Arrested in Livermore Falls Drug Investigation; Cocaine, Crack, and Handgun Seized

LIVERMORE FALLS, Maine — The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA) arrested five people and seized cocaine, crack cocaine, and a handgun following a search warrant at an apartment on Monroe Street, concluding a months-long investigation supported by local tips and partner agencies.

According to MDEA, agents obtained a warrant for 8 Monroe St. Earlier on Thursday, December 4, a vehicle tied to the residence was stopped and approximately 102 grams of suspected cocaine were located. Tanya Hill, 38, of Livermore Falls, and Tajuan Washington, 18, of New York, were arrested for Trafficking in Scheduled “W” Drugs. Both are held at the Androscoggin County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.

Around 3:45 p.m., MDEA agents and the Maine State Police Tactical Team executed the warrant at the apartment, seizing 64 grams of cocaine, 143 grams of cocaine base (crack), and a handgun. The agency estimates the street value of the drugs at $12,000.

Messiah Jones, 21, of New York, was charged with Aggravated Trafficking in Scheduled “W” Drugs and is held on $10,000 cash bail after an initial court appearance. Tyquan Commsisso, 27, of New York, was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person and is held on $15,000 cash bail. Tammie Stone, 46, of Livermore Falls, was taken into custody on four active arrest warrants. The investigation remains active and additional arrests are expected.

Assisting agencies included the Maine State Police, Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office, Livermore Falls Police Department, Jay Police Department, and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
