LIVERMORE FALLS, Maine — Four men were arrested Monday following a reported home invasion in Livermore Falls and a related drug trafficking investigation, according to a joint announcement from local and county law enforcement.

On December 15, 2025, the Androscoggin County Regional Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call from a residence in Livermore Falls requesting police assistance before the call was disconnected. Officers from the Livermore Falls Police Department responded and reported they quickly determined an active home invasion was occurring.

Authorities said three males — two from New York and one from Livermore Falls — forced their way into the residence and physically assaulted a resident with dangerous weapons. Livermore Falls Police requested assistance from the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office. One suspect was detained at the scene, while two others fled on foot, according to the release.

Deputies then responded to a nearby residence associated with the suspects. During the investigation, an additional male from New York was located hiding inside that residence. Deputies also obtained information indicating the three males from New York had been trafficking a large quantity of illicit drugs from the location.

A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of approximately 203.3 grams of illicit drugs, with an estimated street value of $30,000, and approximately $8,000 in suspected drug trafficking proceeds, officials said.

Police reported that the Livermore Falls Police Department used a drone and located one of the suspects who had fled, lying in nearby woods.

The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office arrested the following individuals on charges of Aggravated Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs (Class A):

  • Daniel Gala, 25, of New York

  • Joshua Washington, 25, of New York

  • KaShaun Santiago, 25, of New York

The Livermore Falls Police Department also charged the same individuals with Burglary (Class A), Aggravated Assault (Class B), and Aggravated Criminal Mischief (Class C), according to the release.

Officials said the investigation remains ongoing and additional charges are expected.
