HAMPTON, N.H. — The Hampton Police Department reported at 2:00 a.m. today that the 15-year-old autistic female who was the subject of yesterday’s missing juvenile alert has been found safe. The department acknowledged assistance from New Hampshire State Police, as well as support from the Hampton Falls Police Department, the Exeter Police Department, and members of the public who provided tips during the search.

Consistent with our policy for juveniles, Scanner Alerts Media has removed the juvenile’s name, photograph, and other identifying details from our prior post and from this update. This article refers only to a “15-year-old autistic female” in order to limit the spread of identifying information now that she has been located safely. The police update did not include additional information about circumstances, medical status, or next steps; no further details have been released at this time.

Yesterday’s alert, issued by Hampton Police, stated that the juvenile had been reported missing from the Hampton area in the late afternoon. The department requested the public’s assistance while officers and partner agencies conducted searches and followed up on leads. Overnight, resources were augmented with assistance from New Hampshire State Police and regional partners. The update at 2:00 a.m. confirmed that the juvenile was found safe and concluded the active search.

This article is an edit and replacement of our previous coverage to reflect both the successful recovery and our privacy safeguards for juveniles. Going forward, any additional updates from law enforcement will be summarized in the same fact-based manner without republishing identifying details unless authorities determine a continued risk to safety and explicitly request broad dissemination of those identifiers.

Scanner Alerts Media appreciates the coordinated response by local and state agencies and the responsible engagement from community members who shared information during the active search period. If official agencies release further verified details, we will update this story accordingly while maintaining juvenile privacy protections.
