A rollover crash on Freshet Road in Madbury left a male passenger seriously injured and led to the arrest of the driver on multiple charges, including aggravated driving under the influence.

At 11:54 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop A barracks responded to reports of a rollover with a person thrown from a vehicle on Freshet Road. The vehicle, a 2009 Honda Civic traveling south, lost control, crossed the centerline into the opposing lane, overcorrected, and went off the west shoulder where it rolled multiple times. An adult male passenger was thrown from the vehicle and transported for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver, identified as Cameron Renner, 21, of Rochester, was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Due to the severity of the crash, the NHSP Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit was requested to assist. As a result of the investigation, Renner was arrested and charged with aggravated driving under the influence, falsifying physical evidence, and reckless operation. He was released on personal recognizance pending an appearance in Dover District Court on Thursday, October 9, 2025.
A portion of Freshet Road was closed for approximately four hours during the on-scene investigation, with all lanes reopening at approximately 4 p.m. Troopers were assisted by the Madbury Fire Department and the Lee Fire Department. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper First Class Nathaniel Goodwin at Nathaniel.D.Goodwin@dos.nh.gov.
