OSSIPEE, N.H. — At 12:34 p.m. Thursday, the Center Ossipee Fire Department (COFD) was dispatched to Route 25 East at Route 16B for a two-vehicle crash with one vehicle on its side and entrapment.

Chief Dana Cullen Jr. arrived and assumed command, confirming a single occupant was trapped in the rolled vehicle. Squad 1, responding with a crew of five under Lt. Martino, was directed to deploy the Jaws of Life on arrival. Engine 3 responded with a crew of two. Ossipee Police and Action Ambulance also responded.

COFD crews performed a rapid roof removal to free the entrapped driver. Action EMS provided patient care and transported that driver to Huggins Hospital. The driver of the second vehicle elected to go to the hospital by privately owned vehicle.

COFD thanked Action Ambulance and Ossipee Police for assistance at the scene. No additional details were released.
