SOMERSWORTH MAN ARRESTED AFTER SHOTS FIRED CALL

On 6/19/2025 at around 10pm the Somersworth Police Department responded to a report of a gunshot in the area of 223 High St. Officers canvased the area and located a witness who confirmed a gunshot was fired and provided information leading to a person of interest who had left the scene.

Officers located the person of interest and discovered they had in fact discharged the firearm in

the driveway. Officers located and seized the firearm in question and the vehicle. Search and arrest warrants were executed and Brendan A. Gagne, 29, of Somersworth NH was charged with one count of Reckless Conduct with a Firearm and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine).

This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public, nor were any person(s)

injured by the firearms discharge.
