Somersworth Man Charged in July Fatal Crash on Rochester Hill Road

ROCHESTER, N.H. — Rochester Police have arrested Tayshawn Sheppard, 19, of Somersworth, in connection with the July 24, 2025 motor vehicle crash on Rochester Hill Road that resulted in the death of 25-year-old Adrian Sharman of Rochester.


According to police, Sheppard is charged with Negligent Homicide, Vehicular Assault, Reckless Operation, Speeding, Criminal Mischief, Yellow/Solid Line Violation, and Unlawful Passing on Left. He was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled for a probable cause hearing on December 16, 2025.


The charges stem from a four-vehicle collision reported at 6:46 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Rochester Police, Rochester Fire, and Frisbie EMS responded to the area of Rochester Hill Road and found multiple vehicles involved.


Investigators determined that a 2023 black Acura Integra driven by Sheppard crossed the double yellow lines while heading into Rochester. The Acura collided with three vehicles: a 2015 silver Toyota Corolla driven by Adrian Sharman, a 2021 gray Toyota Camry driven by Pasquale Aiello, and a 2011 black Hyundai Sonata driven by Michael Larose.


Sharman was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was the sole occupant of his vehicle, was wearing a seatbelt, and his Toyota Corolla sustained heavy damage and was towed from the scene.


Sheppard did not report injuries. He was alone in the Acura Integra, was wearing a seatbelt, and his vehicle also sustained heavy damage and was towed.


Aiello, 56, of Rochester, sustained minor injuries and was treated and released on scene. He had no passengers, was wearing a seatbelt, and his vehicle sustained heavy damage and was towed.


Larose, 50, of Rochester, was not injured. He had no passengers, was wearing a seatbelt, and his vehicle sustained minor damage and was able to be driven from the scene.


No additional details about the investigation were released with the arrest announcement. The scheduled hearing is set for December 16, 2025.
