York driving school owner arrested on assault, disorderly conduct charges

YORK, Maine — The York Police Department has arrested Stephen Graziano, a driving school instructor and owner of York Driving School LLC, in connection with an incident involving a student driver earlier this year.
Police said Graziano was taken into custody on November 26, 2025, pursuant to a criminal warrant charging him with assault and disorderly conduct stemming from an incident reported in the spring of 2025. According to the department, detectives conducted an investigation following the report and established probable cause, leading to the charges.
Graziano was bailed and released after his arrest. He is scheduled to appear for arraignment at the York Judicial Center on March 4, 2026.
The department encouraged anyone with additional information related to this case or similar incidents to come forward.
All individuals charged with a crime are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
